I wandered on in and got myself an Erdinger Dunkel Weisse and a bockwurst and it was just like I was transported to Germany. Or at least, transported to Phinney Ridge, where I wanted to buy a house a few years back but I couldn't afford any of them.

A Seattle restaurant critic called South Lake Union the "Herpes Triangle" like ten years ago.

Mr Allen has made massive real-estate and development investments in that neighborhood. He thought he could make it the "biotech center of the universe" or something.
